Stacy Cunningham Spickes
Michael and Stacy are both licensed Realtors® with Austin Realty Connection, members of the Austin Board of Realtors®, as well as both the Texas Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®. In 2001, they formed Austin Home Rescue, a company that focused primarily on helping homeowners in pre-foreclosure situations. They have committed the last four years to mastering and streamlining the Short Sale process and have worked over 200 Short Sales. They are passionate about teaching other agents the “tips and tricks” of the Short Sale business that increased their closing ratio from 50 percent to 98 percent. Their hope is to reduce the foreclosure rate across the Nation by educating other agents on how to successfully complete a Short Sale transaction with as little frustration as possible.
Michael and Stacy are TREC- approved MCE instructors and teach several different seminar formats. They have taught over 60 classes at title companies, brokerages and Realtor® associations. Michael and Stacy also co-authored Short Sale Solutions: An Instruction Guide for Real Estate Agents, which is purchased by agents Nationwide. Along with reducing the foreclosure rate across the Nation, Stacy and Michael are passionate about helping agents develop a niche in Short Sales and helping them build it into a lucrative business. This passion inspired them to begin a Coaching Club, in which they mentor agents on building their Short Sale business and act as their consultants throughout their Short Sale transactions. What makes their classes, Coaching Club and the Instruction Guide unique is that they teach students how to do Short Sales from a real estate agents perspective. Most of the education available on Short Sales is from investor to investor.
Because there was such a demand for quality education on Short Sales for real estate agents, Austin Home Rescue became America's Home Rescue in May 2007 and began offering classes and education products nationwide. Michael and Stacy continue to work their own Short Sales and lead a team of Short Sale Specialists in Austin, TX in addition to teaching classes and consulting agents outside the Austin area in order to help them successfully close Short Sales in their market.
Emily Mayfield
Emily Mayfield joined America’s Home Rescue in August of 2006 as Marketing Director. As America’s Home Rescue continued to grow, Stacy and Michael realized they needed to make an addition to their team in order to keep providing the level of service and support to their customers that make this company unique.
Emily’s passion for real estate, strong belief in America’s Home Rescue’s mission, and desire to become a driving force in expanding AHR to reach more homeowner’s in distress makes her the perfect addition to the team. Her current focus is expanding America’s Home Rescue’s reach through marketing efforts, so that more homeowners know about their options when faced with foreclosure. She is a licensed Realtor® with Texas Realty Connection, LLC, a member of the Austin Board of Realtors®, as well as both the Texas Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®. Before Emily joined AHR, she worked for a Fort Worth based Mortgage Lender as a Wholesale Account Representative. Her experience in the Mortgage Industry led to her interest in helping homeowners in distress by working with their lenders. She also worked for a pharmaceutical company as a Sales Representative, where she developed the marketing skills she uses in her current position at AHR.
Emily attended the University of Texas and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Public Relations. She fell in love with Austin during her four years at UT, and after moving to several places throughout the country, she decided to move back to the city she loves. When she is not working, she enjoys running, water-sports, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Diana Brass
Diana joined America’s Home Rescue in 2007 as our Short Sale Specialist. Her love of traveling and sense of adventure has taken her skydiving, bungee-jumping, horseback riding, hiking, and biking.
