Instructor Profiles
Michael Spickes Michael and Stacy are TREC- approved MCE instructors and teach several different seminar formats. They have taught over 200 classes and seminars at title companies, brokerages and Realtor® associations. Michael and Stacy also co-authored Short Sale Solutions: An Instruction Guide for Real Estate Agents, which is purchased by agents Nationwide. Along with reducing the foreclosure rate across the Nation, Stacy and Michael are passionate about helping agents develop a niche in Short Sales and helping them build it into a lucrative business. This passion inspired them to begin a Coaching Club, in which they mentor agents on building their Short Sale business and act as their consultants throughout their Short Sale transactions. What makes their classes, Coaching Club and the Instruction Guide unique is that they teach students how to do Short Sales from a real estate agents perspective. Most of the education available on Short Sales is from investor to investor. Because there was such a demand for quality education on Short Sales for real estate agents, Austin Home Rescue became America's Home Rescue in May 2007 and began offering classes and education products nationwide. Michael and Stacy continue to work their own Short Sales and lead a team of Short Sale Specialists in Austin, TX in addition to teaching classes and consulting agents outside the Austin area in order to help them successfully close Short Sales in their market.
